The perpetrations of ignorance about how to raise children and build healthy, thriving families is staggering. In the United States alone we write over 6 million prescriptions for Ritalin. Teenage suicide rates are at an all time high. Families are struggling with connecting, feeling supported and staying together. In my opinion, the need for specialized knowledge about raising healthy, self-directed, happy children has never been greater.
Happy, empowered children grow into powerful adults who have the knowledge and the heart to heal the world.
My vision is no less than to heal the world by changing the way we raise our children.
Of course, I have no grand illusions of accomplishing something like this on my own, or even in this lifetime – maybe. But, it has to happen if human life on this planet is to evolve and thrive.
Over the course of the last 20 years I have helped thousands of people. I have taught hundreds of classes and appeared on TV and radio. It doesn’t matter though. It isn’t enough.
On the other hand, I believe in miracles and witness them almost every day in my practice. I know that building a powerful team of people who share my vision is the most impactful thing I can do to heal the world.
As the mother of five children I have dedicated my life to being the best mother that I can for my children. This has been a tremendous personal and spiritual journey.

Who Is This Training For?

I am attracting people from all walks of life, all of whom have one over-riding quality in common. They want to express their soul’s purpose in being here. And for those of you who feel your soul’s purpose is involved with helping families, this may be the opportunity you have been looking for.
The ideal candidate for this apprenticeship program already lives life from a spiritual background, and is perhaps seeking to find a way to deepen that experience. They are committed to a vision of healing the world and know that team work and collaboration are the greatest values necessary for facilitating the manifestation of this vision.
They may also be looking to become a member of a like-minded community of practice in which they themselves can be nurtured, inspired and encouraged. They may have formal training or a therapeutic background or neither of those. But, they all have something in common. They want to make the world a better place. This training is for those who are constantly committed to their own personal and planetary evolution.
This training is NOT for you if, you are looking for or needing therapy. Nor is it for you if you are not committed to doing your work. This is a professional course of study. You will be required to do extensive reading and studying as well as practicing your new skills. What Will I Be Learning?
Participants will:
1. Gain an in depth understanding of current evolutionary trends in children including:
a. Common behavioral manifestations of Gifted and ADD/ADHD children
b. Common challenges facing families raising Gifted and ADD/ADHD children
c. The impact that these “new” children have on family structure and function
d. How to use the Family Coaching Model to support and encourage families of Gifted and ADD/ADHD children
2. Expand on your understanding of normal child development and the development of the family including information about:
a. Pregnancy and childbirth
b. Child development and discipline; moving into a model of democratic parenting vs. autocratic or permissive parenting
c. Misbehavior and its causes
d. Energetic development of children
e. Brain development and the impact it has on behavior, learning and communication
f. Family developmental issues
g. Young adult indigos and their unique issue
3. Gain insight and understanding about the spiritual life of Gifted and ADD/ADHD children and how it impacts on development, sleep and education.
4. Learn how to use the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT), a meridian-based accupressure system that can be used to support families dealing with many emotional, spiritual and physiological issues. Participants will learn how to teach and implement EFT with parents and modify it appropriately with children.
5. Learn to use various assessment tools including intuition, DAT (Draw a Tree) and the Human Design System to evaluate a family. Students will develop a preliminary understanding of the Human Design system and learn to use Human Design to pinpoint potential areas of strengths and vulnerabilities in individual family members as well as use Human Design as a teaching tool to support family members in enhancing respectful conversation and actions.
6. Gain an in-depth understanding of the impact of psychoactive medications on children and how to support families in getting of these medications, including an understanding of proactive behavioral changes in the family structure and nutritional support.
7. Learn how to support and become advocates for families in the school system. Includes learning about right-brain learning strategies, educational alternatives and options and the rights of families within the public school system.
8. Gain an extensive understanding of marketing strategies to help support and promote their practice. All participants, upon completion of certification requirements will be eligible for listing on the Family Coach Network webpage as a Certified Family Coach. In addition, all coaches will become part of an international network of Certified Family Coaches. In addition to being listed with Joyful Mission, all coaches will have access to an internet-based forum which offers professional updates, networking opportunities and other marketing tools to support the coaches in building, keeping and enjoying a full practice doing work they love.

What Does This Program Look Like?
The first part of this program requires that you attend a six-month weekly, two-hour teleclass. All classes are recorded and available to download 24 hours after the class session so it's okay if you occaisionally miss a class. During this six-month training you will be taught the basic coaching skills necessary to begin a thriving coaching practice. This training will include many hands-on demonstrations and give you opportunities to experiment with your new knowledge.
The Six-Month Teletraining starts March 2012
After the class we meet weekly for a one hour teleseminar as part of your apprenticeship program. During the teleseminars
we will discuss actual case studies as well as trouble-shoot any issues that you may need help and support with.
I will also help you market and promote your business. I am deeply committed to you achieving a high level of professional success. I will help you begin to design your website and other marketing materials and guide you in building a thriving practice.
You will be required to complete an extensive reading list and submit a case study in order to complete certification requirements. You will be supported and guided during our teleseminars in completing these requirements.
How Much Does This Program Cost?
The tuition for the Indigo Family Coach Certification Training and Apprenticeship Program is $1,797.00 USD
Tuition includes the training manual. You will be responsible for purchasing your reading materials.
